I have over a decade's experience in the Sydney online scene, as designer, interface developer, project and account manager. My experience ranges from everything from interface design and xhtml/css development, through to complete project management, finished product implementation/testing, and search engine optimisation.
I have designed, developed and project managed online projects ranging from viral campaigns through to e-commerce applications, elearning applications both online and on CD-ROM, and email newsletters and direct marketing pieces. I have worked with clients ranging from small local businesses and digital agencies through to blue chip clients such as Toyota Australia, Telstra and Commonwealth Bank's CommSec. I have also worked with a number of overseas clients, including from the US and the UK, communicating via email, phone and Skype.
I set up my own freelance business early last year (www.zavadesign.com) after returning home from two years in Kenya (where I had been involved in the starting up and managing a kids sports program Michezo Youth Initiative, www.michezoyouth.com). I can provide interface design from wireframe through to final concept, xhtml and CSS interface coding if you require. I also work with a number of open source Content Management Systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, Silverstripe and CMS Made Simple, which are ideal applications for many small to medium sized businesses and organisations, making it easy to update content by a non-technical user.
